It is always easy to blame others, especially our leaders and politicians. Yet, in doing so it becomes all to easy to neglect our own actions and intentions. If, for a moment, we took a step back from this mode of thinking perhaps we would see that while our policies and legislators do play a role, our individual support creates the role of illegal immagrants in the first place. In a real way we perpetuate illegal immigration in our attempt to capitalize on cheap labor and good, while leaving others to deal with the burdens created by this behavior. Clearly, it would be better to take a long look in the mirror at ourselves and see that while our legislators may open the back door to illegal immagration, we all are guilty of leaving the front door wide open.
SA,
Best commentary you’ve done on illegal immigration.
I think pointing out that nuts like The Council of La Raza want to take back the South West (as you’ve done in the past) has it’s place but is less effective than this because in this case you’ve made it clear that you don’t think illegals are truly the ones to blame, just that mass illegal immigration is clearly bad for the US. And you’re pointing the blame in the right direction.
