did anyone else notice McCain refer to himself as a ‘federalist’ in a prior debate? Jefferson and Henry feared a strong federal government in their time, let alone the inheritance of current 21st century America. is this not the equivalent to an admission of big government republican principles? not that there was any question, but we already know what McCain will bring us. how can the party stand for this? we clearly represent the anti-federalists of our day

The “talk show” guys were right, Jack.
These democrats have stolen our Constitutional heritage as thieves in the night.

Where the “talk show” guys were wrong is that they were sucked into the Republican rhetoric and bought it “hook, line and sinker”.

The Republicans stole also, and continue to do so, under the cover of “conservatism”. This is the greatest lie, even worse than the democrats, as we knew what the democrats were.

The deceit of the republican Party is unforgivable.

In 1992, Rush Limbaugh said that Bill Clinton was a “socialist” who would take my house and confiscate every piece of property I had.

To this day, I can not think of a single substantive difference between the presidencies of Bush the elder and Bill Clinton – and George W. Bush is worse than both of them.

That “Marxists” like Obama (and Hillary) promote socialism is no more scary or unnerving than the welfare statism of the Republican Party.

If elected, Obama will be another president, just like any other, who maintains the status quo.

And talk radio will be warning us that the next Democrat to run for President after him is a “Marxist” who will spell doom for the United States.

It simply never happens, It’s empty rhetoric. And the Republicans offer no better alternative.

All of the comments before were interesting to me, especially Sue’s…..hmmm, Monica might be a good running mate for someones V.P. (Vice)…lol… ;O)

In past times I voted for the what seemed to be the lesser of evils, but as the Libertarian phylosophy states, Evil is still Evil. As for Libertarian (though I am registered as one), that emerging party has been split by the Ron Paul Revolution and the damage done there doesn’t give a Libertarian Presidential Candidate much of a chance this time around…unless Ron Paul comes into the picture.

As for Hilliary and McCain they are both the same. Obama is part of the general scheme as well, but may not be as corrupt overall.

Anyone notice how when Thompson was the hot ticket, you couldn’t turn on the tv without seeing Diehard 2 being run 3 times a day? What’s on now? Try Iron Eagle and Behind Enemy Lines both 3 times a day. In my opinion, a not so subtle attempt at propping up a certain sell-out POW.

Cody, I have been thinking of that exact same verse from Ephesians throughout this whole thing. The more I learn about who REALLY controls this country, the more I reflect on this passage from scripture.

We are supposed to live in a republic, some like to call it a democracy, which it is not. Frankly, I don’t even think it is even a democracy anymore. This country has turned into an oligarchy!!
