You do not get it! Mr Walker was retiring next year. His hand was forced and he is making his point. Good for him! He is not saying you can not be gay, he is saying that a high school is not the proper place for this club. No matter if you believe Gay is a choice or inherent in nature you have to get your heads out of the sand and understand that he is doing what he thinks is best for the school and the students. Just think you have said "we are in the bible belt". We are also in the RED NECK zone. If you want to see the negative of this wait till all the RN's find out who is in this club. So get off Eddie Walker's back.

Are you trying to tell us something Jack? Haha
I grew up in a strongly southern baptist community in Texas. My county is the second most conservative county in the nation, and I grew up with strong opinions about gay folks without ever really knowing one (interaction with someone is much different than knowing someone). Well, my wife's brother is gay, and since he has been in my life I threw out all my preconceived notions of their "choice" in the matter. I am still conflicted about it from a moral standpoint, but I figure that is for them and God to sort out, not me.
