Well said!
Excellent. It is so hard to call friends out on things like this. I had the very same conversation last night with my in-laws… not my favorite conversation, but a necessary one.
Dang
Hope he doesn’t kick your skinny little ass.
You better get used to it. With the oncoming election the talking heads and MSM are going at white America with both barrels. CNN is doing a whole month in July on “Black in America”. PBS is pushing the same ole slavery is evil and because of evil white people the world is a mess. The socialist and self-hating whites are in charge of the majority of the MSM media & academia. They will not let this go until either we stand up and say enough or they completely destroy it/us. They are not alone as Mr Moredock demonstrates. Expect to see this agenda pushed vigorously.
I would like to thank you mr. Hunter for being willing to say it like it is without fear, and more importantly without hate… you have yet to offend but have never failed to inform from a southern mans perspective
keep up the good work

I did not construe from what Mr. Hunter read of Mr. Moredock’s column that Moredock was apologizing for being white. I think he brought up some relevant points. As for white supremacy in the South, let’s face it: the whole gist of paleoconservative disapproval of immigration, legal or otherwise, is that it will diminish the 70% white majority Southern whites have always enjoyed in the South. So yes, I would call that attitude white supremacy. There is no established white culture in the U.S., with its own customs, mores, traditions and unique speech patterns. The whites in this country came from as diverse and varied a cultural background as their non-white brothers and sisters. There is, however, an established black culture, born out of the crucible of its history here in the U.S. There may be also be an established Southern white culture, but it is unique from the rest of the country. I understand perfectly wanting to celebrate that culture because of its uniqueness. But celebrating being white is just as irrational as celebrating being black. Both conditions had nothing to do with any effort on the part of the individual. That is why terms like black pride, white pride, and gay pride are meaningless to me. Pride is something rightfully earned from the efforts of the individual, not from clinging to the past accomplishments other members of the same group. That’s my two cents worth. Seeing as how it’s the only dissenting opinion here, feel free to tear it apart at your leisure.
