Bush is the worst president in American history. Bush facilitated the 9/11 attacks. Subsequently, Bush lied to Congress and the American people relative to the reasons for invading Iraq. Bush purposefully misled Congress and the American people. Then, Bush murdered more than 4,000 United States service members. And Bush wounded more than 30,000 United States service members. In torturing prisoners of war, Bush patently violated the Geneva Convention. Bush unlawfully wiretapped United States citizens. In using “signing statements” to challenge hundreds of laws passed by Congress, Bush violated the Constitution. Bush has ignored global warming. Bush is guilty of criminal negligence relative to the response to Hurricane Katrina. Bush disobeys our democratic values and Constitution. Bush is a disgrace to the United States.

Furthermore, Ron Suskind has revealed that Bush directed the forgery of a letter connecting Iraq to the 9/11 attacks. Bush is beyond help.

It says at the top of the page that
Jack Hunter is a “Conservative Columnist”? That’s like saying Andrew Sullivan is a conservative.
Jack Hunter a conservative? Huh?
A conservative sees “just how pro-war the neocon infested media is.”
Huh? The Weekly Standard has as much influence as the MSM? The Iraq
war is “war of aggression against a third world country.”? This is a conservative speaking? “The War Party marches on.” Me thinks that Jack Hunter is as much a conservative as Andrew Sullivan. Which is to say; Hunter and Sullivan are liberals who somehow think they are conservatives.

Great article. It really is sad to see what has become of the media these days. Currently Suskind is releasing transcripts of his taped recordings with the CIAofficials. Bush and NBC are using the olympics as non stop publicity boost for Bush in hopes this story wil die.

actually, i would be really surprised if the whitehouse ordered the CIA to create a forged document linking saddam and 9/11, or saddam and niger uranium. id be surprised, because it would be completely illegal, and if the vp or p were involved theyd be impeached. watergate was real, but it became real because a lot of dedicated people dug for hard evidence to put together a legitimate solid and fair case.

I would say that the current administration has at least 10 of those characteristics. Arguably all of them depending on who you talk to.
It is sad to see how easily the American public can be manipulated by stirring up patriotic emotions with the intent on pushing a nationalist agenda.

In an article entitled “Fascism Anyone?” Laurence Britt compared the regimes of Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, Suharto, and Pinochet and identified 14 characteristics common to those fascist regimes. The number of these characteristics that apply to the Bush administration today is indeed alarming:
