Looks like Neocon HQ/Fox News was scared the truth might get out concerning the conflict between Russia and Georgia. In radio, I’m used to having to cut callers off sometimes because of hard commercial or news breaks. It happens. But it’s very curious that here it happens twice - and only when the same subject is brought up.

I seriously doubt this was on purpose. No cable news network in America can claim to be unbiased, but I very much believe that this happened as a result of hard breaks due to the live running of the show.
You can see that Mr. Smith gives the girl a good amount of time even after she thanks Russian soldiers–which leads me to believe that it was just coincidence.
I think it is pretty obvious that fox is up to its old tricks. Same old, same old I guess.
I find it somewhat disturbing that fox has become so overt of late with pulling these sort of stunts. Is it so confident in its viewer base agreeing and being hoodwinked that it now performs these little smoke screens and cartwheels with the delicacy of a pig to slop?
I think that politics today has become such an “Us vs. Them” game with the two party system. People get almost competitive over which party is better, this clouds judgment in my opinion. I think that the mainstream media plays to appease the left, and Fox News plays to appease its Neo-Conservative viewer base. Neither side cares that they are not getting the whole truth because they see their own personal agenda being promoted and in their minds, this affirms their self-worth and value.
Well put, Corey. I couldn’t agree with you more.
I agree, it looks like their cut the lady off at the same time, but keep in mind, this clip is coming from “Russia Today.” It’s possible that they could have a bias in how they are reporting the story as well. The fact that FoxNews had the lady on at all says something about whether they were trying to get both sides on the air.
While I would love to see the “cutting off” point, I have to agree. The faux news dude did let both talk.
Jack, I’m a chest pounding Republican and well aware of the bias of “the drive by media” But that clip (on Fox) was the most compelling piece from you to date. I’ve waivered before from the party and will do so this election i.e against Graham. But I will cast a skeptical eye towards Fox from now on. Sheppard sucks! Whoever he is. Dave.
