Pushing NATO up on their borders is crazy. Saakashvili won't be the first hothead to start a bloody conflict with Russia and expect the US & NATO to fight the battle for them. Georgia is not a peaceful little democracy - it is an extremely corrupt country, and the current administration made it clear last fall they will fall back on very undemocratic tactics in a panic.
