Spot on, as usual. Mark Sanford is developing a national name rather quickly. I recently brought up his name at a State GOP event in the Midwest, and the power brokers quickly threw back Bobby Jindal’s name as the prime candidate for ‘12. They’d prefer more of the same. We obviously wouldn’t.

Am I the only person disappointed in voters? Congress has a higher disapproval rating than Bush. Thats hard to beat.

Yet, 94% of them up for re-election were re-elected. After all the abuse we citizens have taken with the stripping of liberties, endless wars and bailing out everybody, I have lost faith. Even the Vice Prez elect campaigned on raising taxes, saying it was ‘patriotic’. I dont know where Biden got his history lessons, but the last thing that is patriotic is giving a bloated government more of our hard earned money.

Until Americans actually DO something, Im afraid it will continue its downward spiral. The only thing this election cycle proved to me is that the American electorate whines and complains but has little nerve to stand up to Big Brother.

Be it Jindal, Obama or the next state sponsored messiah, I will not be fooled. Anytime my government or state run media cheerleads a new candidate, I will run like hell! You are absolutely correct, Paul and Obama were the only two candidates that fired up a base. Only Paul supporters were labeled ‘kooks, truthers, tin-foil hat wearers’. I watched with my own eyes, every media outlet treat Paul with scorn. I never believed that our media had the control it did until this election cycle. Oh yea.. We’ve been in a recession for over a year. Funny, that wasnt mentioned when people were running for President. Im with TJ on that one…’Advertisements are the only truths to be relied upon in newspapers.’
