I was pleased to see so many Alternative Right, or Paleoconservative-friendly, websites in the top 10. Writes Taki’s editor Richard Spencer:
“About.com, which has some 40 kagillion viewers worldwide or something like that, has just published a Top 10 list of the best conservative websites offering the “most insightful and informative conservative perspectives anywhere.” Taki’s Magazine is numero tres, just behind The Weekly Standard. and NRO.
The full list is as follows:
1. The Weekly Standard
2. National Review Online
3. TakiMag.com
4. The American Spectator
5. The American Conservative
6. The New American
7. FrontPage Magazine
8. The Christian Science Monitor
9. Cybercast News Service
10. HUMAN EVENTS

Jack,
What about Lew Rockwell.com? I realize the LRC is more Libertarian, but one could argue they are just as much if not more paleo or alternative right than every other web site on the list. BTW, I have to admit. You’d be one of the top 5 people I’d like to have a beer with. First, your Southern and that’s a GOOD thing. Second, your a paleo of sorts and that’s Good as well. I’d love to have a beer with you (my treat of course) the next time I’m in SC. Thanks, PW.
My thoughts mirror Dylan’s from the podcast – who the hell reads The Weekly Standard? I didn’t think it was that popular. I figured National Review would be way out in front.
